Terms of service

WapKit connects a business's own WhatsApp Business account to that business's own software. It sends and receives messages on the business's behalf, records what happened to each one, and forwards events to systems the business nominates.

Access is granted individually. There is no public registration. A project exists because the operator created it under an agreement with that business.

• Consent. You must have a lawful basis and valid opt-in for every person you message, as WhatsApp's own policies require. WapKit records opt-out state and refuses to send to a contact who has opted out, but it cannot establish consent on your behalf.
• Compliance. Your use must comply with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, the WhatsApp Business Terms of Service and Meta's platform terms, as well as the law that applies to you.
• Content. You are responsible for what you send. WapKit does not review, moderate or approve message content.
• Credentials. API keys issued to you authenticate as your project. Keep them secret and rotate them if they are exposed.
• Your Meta account. Your WhatsApp Business account, phone number, message templates, messaging limits and Meta billing remain yours and are governed by your relationship with Meta.

The operator processes your messages to deliver and record them, and for nothing else. Message content is not used for analytics, advertising or model training, and is not disclosed to anyone other than the parties described in the privacy policy.

Delivery depends on Meta and, where applicable, on an intermediate messaging provider. Outcomes those parties control, such as delivery itself, messaging limits, template approval, account quality and account suspension, are outside this service's control, and it reports them rather than guaranteeing them.

Availability targets, support commitments, fees and term length are not set by this page. They are whatever the written agreement between you and the operator says. Where that agreement and this page conflict, the agreement governs.

Either party may end the arrangement under the written agreement. The operator may suspend a project immediately where continuing would breach WhatsApp's policies, Meta's terms or the law.

On termination, WhatsApp access is disconnected and the stored access token is destroyed. Data removal follows the data deletion process.

Changes to these terms are reflected in the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting an existing project are communicated through the written agreement rather than by amending this page silently.
