If you messaged a business on WhatsApp

WapKit holds your messages on behalf of the business you messaged, not on its own account. Contact that business directly. They decide what happens to their customer conversations, and they can have their WapKit records deleted.

If you cannot reach them, or they do not respond, write to the operator of this deployment at contact@kodepundit.com. Include the WhatsApp number you messaged from and the business you messaged, because those are the only two things that identify your records.

If you are a business using WapKit

Ask the operator to delete your project. Deleting a project is a single, irreversible action that removes everything belonging to it:

  • Every message, in both directions, and its full status history.
  • Every contact record, including telephone numbers and consent state.
  • The WhatsApp connection, its stored access token or API key, and its registration PIN.
  • Every API key issued for the project.
  • Synchronised message templates and automation rules.
  • Every inbound provider event and every outbound webhook delivery and attempt.
  • The project's operational event log.

You can also disconnect without deleting. Disconnecting removes WapKit's subscription to your WhatsApp Business account and destroys the stored access token immediately, while leaving your message history in place.

Revoking access directly through Meta

A business that connected a WhatsApp Business account can revoke WapKit's access at any time from Meta Business Manager, without involving anyone here. Doing so stops WapKit reading or sending on that account immediately. It does not delete records already stored. For that, ask for the project to be deleted.

What happens automatically

Raw request and response bodies, meaning the exact payloads exchanged with WhatsApp and with a business's own systems, are erased on a schedule without anyone asking. See the privacy policy for the current window.

What cannot be undone

Deletion is real deletion. There is no archive, no recycle bin and no undo. The only copy that could survive is a database backup taken beforehand, and restoring one would roll back every other project with it, so it is not offered as a recovery path.
